The IDLE Project is a community-based nonprofit organization. We are not medical providers, licensed mental health professionals, addiction counselors, or crisis intervention specialists. The information, resources, and support shared through The IDLE Project are intended for general education, encouragement, connection, and community support only. They are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, therapy, detox services, or emergency assistance.
Anyone experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, overdose risk, or withdrawal symptoms should call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact a qualified healthcare provider immediately. The IDLE Project encourages individuals and families to seek guidance from licensed medical, mental health, addiction recovery, and grief support professionals.
